Slayton (concussion) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Slayton entered the protocol for head injuries in the wake of the Giants' Week 1 loss to the Vikings. After sitting out Wednesday's session, he was back on the field for some non-contact drills one day later, indicating he's through at least a few of the five steps of the aforementioned protocol. Slayton will have one more opportunity to get back to all activity this week, but he'll still need to gain clearance from an independent neurologist in order to suit up Sunday at Washington.
