Colts running back Donald Brown, getting an opportunity to play second fiddle to Trent Richardson with Ahmad Bradshaw sidelined by a neck injury, got only three carries Week 4 at Jacksonville but made the most of them, leading the team with 65 rushing yards. He also had two catches for 11 yards.
His biggest contribution was a 50-yard run in the second quarter that helped set up a 1-yard touchdown run for Richardson. Following a three-carry, 25-yard performance Week 3 at San Francisco, Brown is now averaging 9.2 yards per carry this season.
He'll look to contribute again as a change-of-pace option Week 5 against the Seahawks, though his role could be reduced if Bradshaw is healthy enough to play.
