Joseph Randle has answered a very important question. That is, is it he or Darren McFadden that deserves featured back status for the Cowboys?
It was Randle on Sunday against Atlanta. And based on his performance, it will continue to be. He visited the end zone three times, rushing for 87 yards on just 14 carries in the process for a 7.2 per-carry average.
Randle appeared destined for a huge game when he raced 37 yards for a touchdown a minute into the game, then added a 1-yard score midway through the first quarter. He scored again from one yard out with 40 seconds left in the half.
He also contributed two catches for 18 yards. He will try to keep up the good work at New Orleans in Week 4.
