Williams rushed 14 times for 88 yards and two touchdowns while catching all three of his targets for 19 yards in Sunday's 34-31 loss to the Bengals.
Williams excelled in the lead role with Clyde Edwards-Helaire (shoulder) inactive. He benefited from Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes being ruled just short of the goal line on two separate second-quarter drives, as the running back scored a one-yard touchdown on the ensuing play in both cases. If Edwards-Helaire can't go in the season finale against Denver, Williams should continue to lead the Chiefs backfield as Kansas City attempts to secure the top seed in the AFC.
