Chargers running back Ryan Mathews, who missed Week 15 with an ankle injury, is not practicing Tuesday, reports the San Diego Union-Tribune. The paper added Mathews "wasn't particularly close" to playing Sunday against the Broncos.
The Chargers visit the 49ers on Saturday.
