Adams (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.
Adams has been working through a knee injury since the end of training camp, and the issue was severe enough for him to miss all three practice sessions during Week 1 prep. Per Bo Brack of GoPHNX.com, Jon Gaines will start at right guard in Adams' absence.
