Adams (ankle) was designated to return from injured reserve by the Cardinals on Wednesday, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
Adams has been on IR since Oct. 10 while recovering from an ankle injury, but he had his 21-day practice window opened by Arizona on Wednesday. The offensive lineman will now either be activated from IR in that time frame or remain sidelined for the rest of the year.
