Palmer (concussion) is active for Sunday's Week 1 matchup against the Commanders, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Palmer was able to practice in full all week, so the second-year wideout garnering active status was simply a matter of clearing league protocol for head injuries. With that box having been checked as well, Palmer is set to work in a reserve receiver role against Washington, potentially sharing No. 3 receiver snaps with rookie third-round pick Jalen McMillan.
