Boone agreed Wednesday with the Broncos on a two-year deal, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.
Boone made most of his contributions on special teams for the Vikings in 2020. The 25-year-old running back enters a crowded backfield in Denver, though Phillip Lindsay (hip) -- a restricted free agent -- hasn't officially re-signed and could head elsewhere. Still, with Melvin Gordon and Royce Freeman in the fold, Boone may have a tough time finding a meaningful role on offense.
