The Bengals elevated Hudson from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.
Hudson was released by the Bengals in late August before returning to the team on the practice squad. The tight end was unable to make the 53-man roster over Mike Gesicki, Drew Sample, Erick All or Jack Endries, but it appears the team would like him to suit up for Sunday's game alongside the other four options anyway.
