Grandy will be a healthy scratch for Week 1 while the Bengals go with Noah Fant, Drew Sample and Tanner Hudson as the backup tight ends behind Mike Gesicki. Grandy's next opportunity to see regular-season action is Week 2 against the Jaguars on Sunday, Sept. 14.
