  • Lakers' Jarred Vanderbilt: Diagnosed with dislocated finger

Vanderbilt has been diagnosed with a full dislocation of his right pinky finger, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Vanderbilt exited Tuesday's Western Conference Semifinals Game 1 loss to the Thunder in the second quarter after hitting the backboard and injuring his finger. He was quickly ruled out for the remainder of the game after exiting to the locker room and can be considered doubtful for Game 2 on Thursday until the Lakers offer an update on his status.

  • Chet Holmgren PF | OKC

Thunder's Chet Holmgren: Double-doubles in Game 1 win

Holmgren contributed 24 points (9-17 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 12 rebounds, three blocks, one assist and one steal across 31 minutes in Tuesday's 108-90 win over the Lakers in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

Holmgren was stellar across the board, leading Oklahoma City in scoring while posting game highs in rebounds and blocks. It marked the second double-double of the postseason for the big man, who recorded his first double-double in Game 4 of the first round against the Suns to close out the series. Holmgren and the Thunder will look to keep the momentum going in Game 2 on Thursday as they attempt to take a commanding 2-0 series lead.

  • Lakers' Jarred Vanderbilt: Won't return Tuesday

Vanderbilt (finger) has been ruled out for the remainder of Tuesday's Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Thunder, Khobi Price of The California Post reports. He'll close with two points (1-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and one rebound across six minutes.

Vanderbilt exited to the locker room in the second quarter due to a right finger injury and will remain sidelined for the remainder of Tuesday's contest. The forward's playing time has decreased of late, so his absence shouldn't create major ripple effects in the Lakers' rotation, though Jake LaRavia could see a slightly larger role off the bench. More updates will likely follow, but for now, Vanderbilt should be considered questionable for Game 2 on Thursday.

  • James Harden PG | CLE

Cavaliers' James Harden: Full stat line in Game 1 loss

Harden notched 22 points (6-15 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 9-9 FT), eight rebounds, seven assists, two blocks and one steal across 35 minutes in Tuesday's 111-101 loss to the Pistons in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Although he struggled from beyond the arc, Harden was efficient at the charity stripe and finished as Cleveland's second-leading scorer. The veteran guard delivered a well-rounded line, leading the Cavaliers in assists while finishing second on the team in rebounds. He also matched the team-best mark in blocks, recording three combined steals-plus-blocks for a fourth consecutive contest. Harden and the Cavaliers will now look to steal a road win in Game 2 on Thursday.

  • Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Paces Detroit in Game 1 win

Cunningham totaled 23 points (6-19 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 9-11 FT), seven assists, three rebounds and two steals across 42 minutes in Tuesday's 111-101 win over Cleveland in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Cunningham struggled with efficiency from the field but made the most of his trips to the charity stripe, finishing with a team-high 23 points in Detroit's critical Game 1 victory. The star guard has now scored at least 20 points in all eight of the Pistons' playoff games in 2026 after turning in a strong first-round series against the Magic, during which he averaged 32.4 points, 7.1 assists and 5.7 rebounds while shooting 46.2 percent from the field and 39.6 percent from beyond the arc across seven contests. Cunningham continuing to produce, particularly with greater efficiency than Tuesday, will be key as Detroit looks to take a commanding 2-0 series lead Thursday.

  • Sam Merrill SG | CLE

Cavaliers' Sam Merrill: Doesn't return Tuesday

Merrill (hamstring) did not return to Tuesday's 111-101 loss to the Pistons in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals, finishing with one assist in seven minutes.

Merrill was able to finish the first quarter but never checked back in due to a left hamstring injury. The Cavaliers are expected to provide an update on his status by Wednesday night ahead of Game 2 on Thursday.

  • Lakers' Jarred Vanderbilt: Leaves for locker room

Vanderbilt exited to the locker room in the second quarter of Tuesday's Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Thunder due to an apparent right hand injury, Dan Woike of The Athletic reports.

Vanderbilt attempted to contest a dunk but ended up hitting his right hand on the backboard. He appeared to be in a considerable amount of pain while heading back to the locker room and can be considered questionable to return until further notice.

  • Sam Merrill SG | CLE

Cavaliers' Sam Merrill: Questionable to return Tuesday

Merrill is questionable to return to Tuesday's Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Pistons due to a left hamstring injury, Danny Cunningham of Sports Radio 92.3 The Fan Cleveland reports.

Merrill played the final 6:41 of the first quarter before exiting to the locker room. If the sharpshooter is unable to return, Max Strus and Jaylon Tyson will likely help pick up the slack.

  • Sam Merrill SG | CLE

Cavaliers' Sam Merrill: Exits to locker room

Merrill (undisclosed) exited to the locker room after the first quarter of Tuesday's Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Pistons, Danny Cunningham of Sports Radio 92.3 The Fan Cleveland reports.

Merrill played the final 6:41 of the opening quarter before heading back to the locker room with a member of the medical staff. It's unclear why he left the floor, and he can be considered questionable to return until more information comes to light.

  • Kevin Huerter SF | DET

Pistons' Kevin Huerter: Ruled out Tuesday

Huerter (adductor) has been ruled out for Tuesday's Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Cavaliers.

Huerter will miss a fourth consecutive contest due to a left adductor strain, and his next opportunity to play will come in Game 2 on Thursday. With the 27-year-old swingman sidelined, Daniss Jenkins and Javonte Green are candidates for increased minutes off the bench.
