  • Raptors' Trayce Jackson-Davis: Back at practice Tuesday

Jackson-Davis (migraines) was back at practice Tuesday, Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun reports.

It was previously unknown why Jackson-Davis had been away from the team, but now there's some clarity. This sets him up to make his preseason debut Saturday against the Clippers.

  • Grizzlies' Scotty Pippen: Productive off bench

Pippen recorded 10 points (3-5 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four assists and one steal in 16 minutes during Monday's 132-123 preseason win over the Hawks.

Pippen came off the bench behind Ty Jerome, who started at point guard, but played well alongside Cam Spencer in the second unit. Pippen is considered Jerome's primary competition for the starting point guard job and should remain firmly in the rotation even if he begins the season as a reserve.

  • Jerami Grant PF | MEM

Grizzlies' Jerami Grant: Scores 10 off bench

Grant finished with 10 points (2-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), four rebounds and two assists in 14 minutes during Monday's 132-123 preseason win over Atlanta.

Grant came off the bench behind Jaylen Wells but was efficient during his limited run. The two appear to be the primary candidates for Memphis' starting small forward job, though Grant should have a significant role regardless of whether he starts.

  • Jonathan Isaac PF | ORL

Magic's Jonathan Isaac: Out for personal reasons

Isaac (knee) won't travel with the Magic for Wednesday's preseason opener against the Grizzlies due to personal reasons, Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Isaac also wasn't spotted on the court during the media-viewing portions of Orlando's practices Monday or Tuesday. The veteran forward entered training camp limited while completing his recovery from the left knee sprain that ended his 2025-26 campaign, but his absence Wednesday is being attributed to personal reasons.

  • Bucks' Kasparas Jakucionis: Doesn't play Monday

Jakucionis was a DNP-CD during Monday's 116-97 preseason loss to the Timberwolves.

Jakucionis was one of several Bucks who didn't see the floor despite Milwaukee using 14 players. The second-year guard was acquired from Miami during the offseason and should have additional opportunities to make his preseason debut as Milwaukee evaluates its revamped backcourt rotation.

  • Ousmane Dieng SF | MIL

Bucks' Ousmane Dieng: Picks up DNP in preseason

Dieng was a DNP-CD during Monday's 116-97 preseason loss to Minnesota.

Dieng was available but didn't see the floor in Milwaukee's first preseason contest. The 23-year-old will look to earn a role in a crowded Bucks frontcourt during the remainder of the preseason.

  • John Butler PF | MIL

    John Butler: Cut by Milwaukee

The Bucks waived Butler on Tuesday.

No surprise here, as Butler was previously on an Exhibit 10 deal. Look for him to join Milwaukee's G League affiliate, the Herd.

  • Johni Broome PF | MIL

Bucks' Johni Broome: Signed by Bucks

The Bucks signed Broome to a contract Tuesday.

Broome made 11 regular-season appearances for Philadelphia as a rookie in 2025-26 but spent most of the campaign in the G League, averaging 21.8 points, 8.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.5 blocks and 1.1 steals in 32.9 minutes across 26 games for Delaware. The 2025 second-round pick is presumably on an Exhibit 10 deal and will compete for a roster spot.

  • Lakers' Ziaire Williams: Efficient in start

Williams finished with 13 points (4-6 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound, one assist and three steals in 21 minutes during Monday's 127-103 preseason win over the Kings.

Williams drew the start with Austin Reaves (ankle) and Collin Sexton (lower body) unavailable and made a strong impression on both ends of the floor. The 25-year-old is competing with Jake LaRavia and several other wings for a prominent role, and his combination of perimeter shooting and defense should help his case.

  • Jake LaRavia SF | LAL

Lakers' Jake LaRavia: Fills stat sheet in preseason

LaRavia recorded 12 points (5-6 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 0-3 FT), three rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks in 21 minutes during Monday's 127-103 preseason win over Sacramento.

LaRavia came off the bench but was productive across the board, finishing with a game-high plus-27 rating. He's firmly in the mix for a significant role on the wing and remains a candidate to start once the Lakers settle on their regular-season rotation.
