Nets' Moritz Wagner: Retreating to bench Monday

Wagner is not in the starting lineup for Monday's preseason game against the Wizards.

With Day'Ron Sharpe (shoulder) back in action, Wagner will shift to a reserve role. As a starter Thursday against the 76ers, the veteran center totaled six points (2-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four steals, three rebounds and one assist across 18 minutes.

Clowney will retreat to the bench after finishing with 11 points (3-4 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT) across 20 minutes as a starter Thursday against Philadelphia. The young forward will cede his starting role to Michael Porter, who missed the previous contest due to wrist soreness.

  • Keshon Gilbert PG | ATL

    Hawks' Keshon Gilbert: Out Monday

Gilbert (knee) won't play in Monday's preseason game against the Thunder, per Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network.

  • Hawks' Dorian Finney-Smith: Back in action

Finney-Smith (rest) will play in Monday's preseason game against the Thunder, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.

Finney-Smith rested Saturday but will be back in action Monday and should play a major role with most of Atlanta's regulars sitting out for rest. The veteran forward has been a solid defender and floor-spacer in his career, but he struggled mightily, mostly due to injuries, during his one-year stint with the Rockets in the 2025-26 season. In Atlanta, Finney-Smith will compete for a reserve role, limiting his fantasy appeal.
