  • Nate Bittle C | TOR

Raptors' Nate Bittle: Doesn't play Saturday

Bittle (foot) did not play in Saturday's 129-105 preseason loss to the Heat.

Bittle is dealing with a foot injury. He's been wearing a walking boot, so it's unknown if he will be cleared for action against the Clippers on Oct. 10.

  • Alijah Martin SG | TOR

Raptors' Alijah Martin: Doesn't play in preseason opener

Martin (knee) didn't play in Saturday's preseason game against the Heat.

Martin missed the Raptors' Summer League finale on July 19, and he didn't play in the preseason opener either. However, even if he's cleared to play before the regular season starts, he shouldn't be a regular member of the rotation. Martin appeared in just 23 regular-season games in 2025-26, averaging just 6.3 minutes and 2.2 points per game.

  • Chucky Hepburn PG | TOR

Raptors' Chucky Hepburn: Solid defensively Saturday

Hepburn (knee) finished with 11 points (4-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five rebounds, two assists and three steals over 25 minutes in Saturday's 129-105 preseason loss to the Heat.

Hepburn missed time during the 2026 Las Vegas Summer League due to a knee issue. However, he was back on the floor Saturday, tying Scottie Barnes in scoring. The 23-year-old went undrafted in 2025 but managed to sign a two-way contract with Toronto. He spent most of the 2025-26 campaign in the G League with Raptors 905, averaging 12.3 points, 1.9 rebounds, 8.8 assists and 2.3 steals across 29.2 minutes in 19 games. Hepburn may see most of his action in the G League once again in 2026-27, though his abilities on the defensive side of the ball could earn him a spot on the main roster at some point moving forward.

  • Heat's Giannis Antetokounmpo: Perfect from field in preseason opener

Antetokounmpo scored nine points (3-3 FG, 3-4 FT) while adding four rebounds and seven assists in Saturday's 129-105 preseason win over the Raptors.

Antetokounmpo also committed two turnovers, but the star guard delivered a dominant performance in a brief 14-minute cameo, showing he'll be the gravitational force on offense for the Heat when he's on the court. Expect the Heat to manage Antetokounmpo's workload carefully during the preseason with an eye to have him in top-notch condition for the regular-season opener against the Timberwolves on Wednesday, Oct. 21.

  • RJ Barrett SG | TOR

Raptors' RJ Barrett: Ties for game-high 15 points Saturday

Barrett finished with 15 points (3-9 FG, 2-4 FT, 7-8 FT), three rebounds, one assist and one steal across 17 minutes in Saturday's 129-105 preseason loss to Miami.

Barrett was efficient from deep Saturday, and he managed to tie Tyreke Key with a game-high in scoring. The 26-year-old averaged 19.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists over 30.3 minutes per contest during the 2025-26 campaign. However, he appeared in less than 58 regular-season games for the third consecutive year. Regardless of what the future holds for Barrett, he will need to remain healthy. His three-point shooting also needs work, especially since he shot a career-high 40.1 percent from downtown in 2020-21, his second season in the NBA.

  • Al Horford C | GS

Warriors' Al Horford: Will suit up for preseason opener

Horford will play in Sunday's preseason game against the Clippers, Anthony Slater of ESPN.com reports.

While Horford will be available for the preseason opener in Hawaii, head coach Steve Kerr said he will only see action in the first half and play "around 12-16 minutes." The 2007 No. 3 overall pick wasn't a routine contributor for the Warriors during the 2025-26 campaign, averaging 8.3 points and 4.9 rebounds, both career lows, along with 2.6 assists and 1.1 blocks over 21.5 minutes in 45 regular-season games. Although that is likely to remain the case in 2026-27, Horford could be tasked with an enhanced role right out of the gate, considering Kristaps Porzingis (undisclosed) might miss time to begin the year.

  • Warriors' Draymond Green: Will play Sunday

Green will play in Sunday's preseason game against the Clippers, Anthony Slater of ESPN.com reports.

Head coach Steve Kerr stated Green, Stephen Curry and Al Horford would all be available for the preseason opener. However, all three will only play in the first half and be on the floor "around 12-16 minutes." Green most recently averaged 8.4 points, 5.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists over 27.5 minutes in 68 regular-season games in 2025-26. While his production has remained the same for the most part in the last few seasons, his numbers could improve, considering Jimmy Butler (knee) will miss the start of the 2026-27 campaign. In addition, it's unknown if Kristaps Porzingis (undisclosed) will be ready to go for opening night.

  • Warriors' Stephen Curry: Will only play first half

Curry will only play the first half in Sunday's preseason opener against the Clippers in Hawaii and should be limited to around 12 to 16 minutes, Anthony Slater of ESPN.com reports.

Curry is one of three veterans who will be playing reduced minutes in the preseason opener Sunday, alongside Draymond Green and Al Horford. The Warriors are clearly trying to keep Curry in the best possible condition before the regular season after he was limited to just 43 regular-season contests in 2025-26 because of a nagging knee injury.

  • Cavaliers' Donovan Mitchell: '100 Percent committed' to Cleveland

Cavaliers guard Sam Merrill reported that Mitchell is "100 percent committed" to the organization, Daniel Chavkin of The Sporting News reports.

Mitchell agreed to a four-year, $275 million extension during the offseason after leading the Cavaliers to the Eastern Conference Finals in 2025-26. While the new contract should have extinguished any doubt regarding Mitchell's desire to remain with the organization moving forward, Merrill recalled how things went during the last extension. "Donovan's 100 percent committed here," Merrill stated. "I remember when he signed his last extension, when everyone thought he was going to leave and there [were] questions about it." The 30-year-old has spent the last four seasons in Cleveland after beginning his career in Utah. He most recently appeared in 70 regular-season games, averaging 27.9 points, 5.7 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals over 33.5 minutes per contest. Mitchell has been a top fantasy contributor for years, and his all-around production gives him top-10 upside in all fantasy formats.

  • Ja'Kobe Walter SG | TOR

Raptors' Ja'Kobe Walter: Starting versus Miami

Walter will start in Saturday's preseason game against the Heat, Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun reports.

Walter will start in Toronto's first preseason game, though it's unknown how long he will be on the floor. The 22-year-old started in 19 regular-season games in 2025-26, averaging 9.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.2 steals over 25.7 minutes in those appearances.
