Adebayo finished with eight points (3-10 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 2-4 FT), eight rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks across 30 minutes in Monday's 113-109 loss to the Mavericks. Adebayo struggled offensively, missing all five of his three-point attempts and finishing in single digits for the second time this season. He made up for it with strong contributions elsewhere, finishing with at least two tallies in each of the other four major categories. His scoring limitations are worth monitoring, as he's still finding his footing alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo. However, Adebayo's rebounding and defensive contributions provide a useful floor even when his shot isn't falling. But even with solid peripheral contributions, this has been a disappointing start to the season for the big man, who averaged 20.1 points and 10.0 rebounds per game in the 2025-26 regular season.

Adebayo had 20 points (7-17 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal across 39 minutes during Saturday's 115-110 loss to the Hornets. Adebayo's 20 points accounted for a season-high, but he wasn't particularly efficient and also coughed up four turnovers. The 29-year-old big man is going through some growing pains adjusting to his new superstar teammate, and the lack of spacing has been a problem for Miami, as they've opened the season 0-3. While the Heat rank in the top five in three-point attempts per game, they also rank in the bottom half in three-point percentage, which is a tough combination if you're trying to win games.

Adebayo finished with four points (2-6 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 0-2 FT), six rebounds, three assists and two steals across 23 minutes in Friday's 128-111 loss to the Pistons. Adebayo recorded 15 points and seven rebounds in the season-opening loss to the Timberwolves on Wednesday, and he had another disappointing performance Friday. The fact that he was the lowest-scoring player among the Miami starters isn't how the team envisions Adebayo's fit alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo, who led the way with 36 points. Adebayo will look to bounce back soon, but his production over the first two games of the campaign is well below his usual standard.

Adebayo posted 15 points (6-12 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-3 FT), seven rebounds, four assists and three steals across 31 minutes in Wednesday's 131-106 loss to the Timberwolves. Adebayo opened the regular season with a well-rounded performance, although his scoring numbers were below expectations and his perimeter shooting remained inconsistent. His three steals helped offset a modest scoring total and highlighted his ability to provide fantasy value through defense and playmaking beyond scoring. With Giannis Antetokounmpo sharing the frontcourt, Adebayo's scoring opportunities could fluctuate, making his peripheral production particularly important.

Adebayo (groin) isn't listed on the injury report for Wednesday's game against Minnesota. Adebayo missed the Heat's final three preseason games with right groin tightness, though the star big man is set to play in the team's regular-season opener. Over 73 regular-season appearances in 2025-26, he averaged 20.1 points, 10.0 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.9 combined steals-plus-blocks in 32.4 minutes per contest. He's finished with regular-season averages of at least 18 points and nine rebounds per game in six straight years.
