Simmons (not injury related) has been ruled out for Thursday's preseason game against the Lakers, Brenden Nunes of KHTK Sactown Sports 1140 reports.
Simmons is not yet ready to make his preseason debut. However, it seems he's in line to take the court for Sacramento's upcoming exhibition Saturday against the Warriors, per Marc J. Spears of ESPN.com. The Kings should have a better idea of his status for Saturday as tipoff nears.
