Franmil Reyes DH | WAS
Indians' Franmil Reyes: Hits two-run shot
Reyes went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in Saturday's win against the White Sox.
Reyes' homer, his second of the season, came as part of a six-run fourth inning against Drew Anderson. The slugger hasn't been everything Cleveland has expected this season, though he's now recorded three straight multi-hit games.

Alex Dickerson DH | ATL
Giants' Alex Dickerson: Stuck on bench against lefty
Dickerson will sit against lefty Clayton Kershaw and the Dodgers on Saturday, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.
Dickerson hasn't started against any of the seven lefties the Giants have faced this season, so it's no surprise to see him sit against one of the best southpaws in the league. Hunter Pence and Austin Slater start in the outfield corners Saturday.

Byron Buxton CF | MIN
Twins' Byron Buxton: Second straight game with homer
Buxton went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Friday's 3-2 loss to the Royals.
That's now back-to-back games with a homer for Buxton, and three straight games with an extra-base hit after he went seven games without one to begin the season. Buxton only has one (unsuccessful) steal attempt so far, but his sprint speed remains elite and the stolen bases will come if Buxton can just stay on the field.

Charlie Blackmon RF | COL
Rockies' Charlie Blackmon: Homers again in win
Blackmon went 3-for-4 with a solo home run, a walk and another run scored during Friday's win over the Mariners.
Blackmon extended Colorado's lead in the eighth inning with a leadoff homer against Yohan Ramirez. The long ball was the third of the year and second in as many nights for the 34-year-old, who has now extended his hitting streak to 11. On the season, Blackmon leads the Rockies in batting average (.423), on-base percentage (.446), hits (22) and RBI (15).

Alex Dickerson DH | ATL
Giants' Alex Dickerson: Not starting Friday
Dickerson is not in the lineup Friday against the Dodgers, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Dickerson has started against every righty the Giants have faced this season but has yet to be in the lineup against a lefty. That tradition will continue against Julio Urias on Friday, with Darin Ruf and Austin Slater handling the outfield corners.

Darin Ruf DH | MIL
Giants' Darin Ruf: On short side of platoon
All five of Ruf's starts this season have come against left-handed pitchers. He is batting .278/.381/.333 with five RBI and two runs in 18 at-bats.
He made the team due to a monster spring training and presumably solid summer camp, and he also survived the first round of roster cuts Thursday. As long as he keeps getting on base at a strong clip against southpaws, the playing time should still be there, and he should eventually start hitting for power.

Jorge Soler DH | LAA
Royals' Jorge Soler: Goes deep in win
Soler went 3-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored in Thursday's win over the Cubs.
Soler was a key part of an offensive onslaught that produced 13 runs and 18 hits in the contest. He drove in a run on a groundout in a six-run third inning, then poured salt in the wound with a solo home run in the seventh. On the season, the 28-year-old is slashing .275/.367/.490 with three homers and six RBI.

Daniel Vogelbach DH | TOR
Mariners' Daniel Vogelbach: Goes deep Thursday
Vogelbach went 1-for-4 with a solo home run a loss to the Angels on Thursday.
The Mariners had no answer for Angels' starter Dylan Bundy on Thursday, with Vogelbach's fourth-inning blast accounting for Seattle's only run of the contest. The long ball snapped an eight-game stretch without an extra-base hit to begin the season for Vogelbach, who is hitting a meek .125 (3-for-24) through 27 plate appearances.

Shohei Ohtani DH | LAD
Angels' Shohei Ohtani: Goes deep in return to lineup
Ohtani went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and an additional run scored in a win over Seattle on Thursday.
Ohtani had not played since suffering a strained forearm as a pitcher Sunday, but he wasted little time proving that the injury would not limit him as a hitter, blasting a home run to left field in the second inning. The long ball was Ohtani's fifth hit of the season -- three of which have left the yard. Despite hitting only .167 on the campaign, the 26-year-old has driven in eight runs in nine contests.
