Ramirez went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk during Game 5 of the ALCS against the White Sox on Saturday. The veteran third baseman golfed a two-run homer during the fourth inning for the only runs of the game to help complete the Guardians' comeback from a 2-0 series deficit. Just like Cleveland, Ramirez had a slow start to the ALDS and was hitless in the first two games, but he responded by going 5-for-12 with four extra-base hits, seven RBI and five runs over the final three contests of the series.

Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a walk, a double, a triple, a stolen base, two RBI and two runs during the Guardians' 9-3 win against the White Sox in Game 3 of the ALDS on Wednesday. The veteran third baseman walked and scored during Cleveland's four-run third inning, then he doubled, stole third and scored in the fifth before providing some insurance runs in the eighth with a two-RBI triple. Ramirez went 0-for-6 with two walks, a run and three strikeouts in the first two games of the series, but he broke out in a big way Wednesday to help the Guardians stave off elimination.

Ramirez is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Royals. With the Guardians' playoff seeding set after the team clinched the AL Central title Saturday, Ramirez will rest for the regular-season finale. Daniel Schneemann will start at third base and bat eighth against lefty Daniel Lynch.

Ramirez went 2-for-5 with a home run, two RBI and a steal during the Guardians' 5-3 win over the Athletics on Friday. Ramirez contributed to the Guardians' three-run fourth inning with an RBI single to center field before extending the team's lead to 5-3 with a solo homer in the sixth. It was his second consecutive game with two hits, and it looks like the superstar third baseman may be breaking out of his slump (6-for-53 in his 13 games from Sept. 1 to 15). Ramirez is also up to 34 steals on the year, which is seventh-most in the majors, and he's still got a shot at reaching 40 for a third consecutive season.
