Montgomery went 2-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI in Wednesday's 10-5 loss to the Yankees.
It was the first career multi-homer game for Montgomery, who socked a pair of two-run shots Wednesday. The slugging infielder has tallied just seven hits in 40 at-bats during June, but six have gone for extra bases this month. Through 288 trips to the plate, Montgomery is slashing .225/.319/.502 with 19 big flies, 13 doubles, 44 RBI and 35 runs scored while hitting primarily for power.
