Hudson is slated to work as Chicago's opening pitcher Sunday versus Minnesota, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports.

Hudson has gotten some opportunities as the closer recently, picking up two saves over his past four appearances. However, he'll be deployed in the opposite role Sunday, serving as the opener while likely handling just an inning or two. It's unclear what the White Sox plan is for the pitchers following Hudson, but the team may ask Jose Urquidy to log a few frames.
