Montgomery went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, a run scored, two RBI, a walk and a strikeout during Saturday's 10-5 loss to the Mets.
In the bottom of the second, Montgomery launched a solo shot off Christian Scott to get the scoring started for the White Sox and tie the game at one. The 23-year-old rookie snapped his 13-game drought without a home run dating back to Aug. 7. The switch-hitter proceeded to draw an RBI walk in the fifth, cutting New York's lead to three. On the campaign, Montgomery is slashing .235/.325/.380 with five homers and 32 RBI in 252 plate appearances.
