Buxton went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Thursday against the Pirates.
Buxton only had one hit in the contest, but made it count by slugging his first home run of the season in the fourth inning. After a slow start due to a foot injury and poor performance, Buxton has slowly showed signs of life at the plate and now has at least one hit in three consecutive contests. Despite that, he has an ugly .174/.200/.348 line across his first 25 plate appearances.
