Buxton was pulled from Monday's game against the Rangers due to right hip tightness, Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic reports.
It initially looked as though Buxton was dealing with a knee injury, but the team announced later in the night that a hip injury was the reason for his removal. He'll be considered day-to-day moving forward, per Gleeman.
