Buxton is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Cubs due to a foot injury, though he's available to pinch hit off the bench, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Buxton went 2-for-5 with two runs and a stolen base during Tuesday's contest, but he was also hit by a pitch in the foot that will sidelined him for at least one game. He should be considered day-to-day while Nick Gordan mans center field for the Twins.
