Maton isn't in the Tigers' lineup Saturday against the Mariners.
Maton was called up from Triple-A Toledo on Friday and went 1-for-3 with a homer and two RBI in his first game back in the majors. He'll catch a breather Saturday while Andy Ibanez starts at second base and bats eighth.
