Steer went 1-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Saturday's 10-2 win over the Yankees.
Steer broke open a close game in the fifth inning with a three-run homer off Will Warren to give the Reds a 6-1 lead. It was the 12th home run of the season for Steer, who has hit a rough patch at the plate this month. He's batted just .067 (3-for-45) over the last 14 contests. There is a silver lining, however, as all three hits have left the park, and Steer's knocked in eight runs during the slump.
