Yoshida has gone 7-for-17 with a home run, two doubles and two walks while starting in each of the Red Sox's last four matchups with righties, but the lefty-swinging batter will move to the bench Sunday while the Mets send southpaw Zach Thornton to the bump. Jarren Duran will fill in for Yoshida as Boston's designated hitter and will bat seventh.
