Rays' Junior Caminero: Extends homer streak to six games

Caminero went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Wednesday's 4-0 win over the Royals.

Caminero put the Rays ahead early with his two-run, 425-foot blast off Seth Lugo in the first inning. Caminero has now gone deep in six straight games, tying a Rays franchise record, while going 14-for-31 (.452) with nine homers in his last eight contests. The 22-year-old third baseman is now slashing .293/.383/.561 with 24 homers, 54 RBI and 54 runs scored across 363 plate appearances this season.
