The Rangers recalled O'Hoppe from Triple-A Round Rock on Saturday.
O'Hoppe will rejoin the Rangers for the final weekend of the regular season to give the team a bat to replace Josh Jung, who landed on the IL with a fractured hand Saturday. O'Hoppe has posted just a .578 OPS in 274 plate appearances in the big leagues this year and isn't likely to see much playing time to close out the season.
