Carter (quadriceps) started at designated hitter and went 0-for-3 with a walk and an RBI for Triple-A Round Rock on Saturday.
Carter played a second game on his rehab assignment. He played center field for six innings Friday. Carter potentially could be activated for Tuesday's series opener against the Rays.
