Davis will start at catcher and bat ninth in Sunday's game against the Reds.
Davis will claim his third start in four games after going 2-for-5 with a home run, a double, two RBI and two additional runs in his previous three contests. He looks to have worked his way into a timeshare at catcher with Endy Rodriguez, who has been the far better performer of the two backstops through the halfway point of the season.
