Davis went 1-for-3 with a double, a walk and an RBI on Friday against the Royals.
Davis started behind the plate for the second consecutive game and made an impact at the plate in each contest. He popped his 10th home run of the season Thursday and then provided an insurance run with an infield single Friday. Davis is still having a poor offensive season overall, but he has set career-high marks in homers, RBI and runs scored.
