The Phillies reinstated Suarez (back) from the 15-day injured list Saturday.
Suarez landed on the injured list in late July with lower-back soreness, and he'll now return after nearly a month to start Saturday's game against the Royals. He didn't pitch in a rehab game in the minors during his recovery, so there's a good chance he'll be working under some sort of pitch count during his first start since July 22. Tyler Gilbert was optioned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley in a corresponding move.
