Hays (hamstring) isn't in the Phillies' lineup for Thursday's game against Arizona.
Hays was taken out of Wednesday's game in the third inning after feeling his left hamstring tighten up, and he'll get a day off Thursday in order to recover. Weston Wilson will start in left field instead and bat eighth against left-hander Jordan Montgomery.
