Nido got the start behind the plate Tuesday and hit ninth, going 1-for-4 with two strikeouts.
Wilson Ramos was still in the lineup but at DH, allowing Nido to make only his third start of the season. The 26-year-old has gone 3-for-10 in those starts, but as long as Ramos is healthy, playing time will be scarce for his backup.
