McNeil (wrist) will play for the Scottsdale Scorpions in the Arizona Fall League on Friday and Saturday, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.
The Mets want to see how McNeil handles playing back-to-back, nine-inning games before deciding whether to include him on their potential NLCS roster. He's been sidelined since early September with a fractured right wrist but resumed full workouts earlier this week.
