Lindor is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Phillies.
The Mets are easing Lindor back into a full-time role after he returned from the injured list June 24 following a two-month stay on the shelf due to a left calf strain. He'll sit for the second time in five games since his reinstatement, giving way to Bo Bichette at shortstop. Through his first three starts upon his return, Lindor has gone 2-for-12 with a triple, a walk, two RBI and a run.
