Edwards went 2-for-5 with a run scored and a stolen base in Monday's loss to the Reds.
He remains one of the few bright spots in the Marlins' depleted lineup. Edwards has his safely in eight straight games, batting .469 (15-for-32) over that stretch to boost his slash line on the season to .383/.456/.470 through 137 plate appearances with a homer, 12 steals, 13 RBI and 19 runs.
