The Marlins optioned Gray to Triple-A Jacksonville on Monday.
Gray's latest stint in the majors lasted just a few days and he was retired in his only two plate appearances. The 28-year-old is hitless in seven at-bats in the big leagues in 2024 and is also slashing just .216/.292/.485 at Jacksonville, albeit with 12 home runs.
