Rogers is part of the Marlins' 60-man player pool, Craig Mish of SportsGrid.com reports.
He is not on the 40-man roster, but his inclusion will give him a chance to work on his development with many of the Marlins' other top prospects. Rogers is a solid pitching prospect, but he logged a 4.50 ERA in five starts at Double-A last season, so he is probably not ready to hold his own against big-league hitters.
