The Marlins activated Anderson (personal) from the bereavement list Monday.
Anderson missed the weekend series against the Guardians but will be back in action as the Marlins travel to New York to play the Mets beginning Tuesday. With a .188/.221/.206 slash line, Anderson has been one of the worst-hitting regulars in baseball this season.
