The Marlins recalled Munoz from Triple-A Jacksonville on Tuesday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
Munoz had been optioned to Jacksonville on Friday, but he'll be eligible to rejoin the Marlins without making an appearance in the minors since he'll be replacing one of the many players that Miami traded away ahead of Tuesday's deadline. The banged-up Marlins still have plenty of holes in their rotation, so Munoz could step back into a starting role as soon as Wednesday at Tampa Bay or Thursday at Atlanta. He holds a 5.61 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 50:31 K:BB over 61 innings in the majors in 2024.
