Pruitt was relatively effective across three relief appearances during this stint with the major-league club, as he allowed a run on three hits and no walks while striking out four in 3.2 innings. His removal from the 40-man roster will make room for right-hander Paul Campbell, who was reinstated from the COVID-19 injured list Thursday.
