The Mariners recalled Haggerty from Triple-A Tacoma on Wednesday.
The addition of Haggerty, who has played second base, shortstop and all three outfield spots between the majors and minors this season, will give Seattle some more versatility off the bench. The Mariners optioned corner infielder Kevin Padlo to Triple-A to clear room on the active roster for Haggerty.
