Rivas is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Astros.

Rivas will be left out of the lineup for the third game in a row while the Mariners make an effort to get their best bats in the lineup. To that end, Jorge Polanco will once again cover second base, allowing Dominic Canzone to serve as the Mariners' designated hitter while Victor Robles occupies right field.
