The Mariners recalled Rivas from Triple-A Tacoma on Friday.
The move corresponds with the Mariners placing J.P. Crawford (wrist) on the 10-day injured list, with the addition of Rivas bolstering Seattle's infield depth. Rivas was on the Mariners' Opening Day roster but was sent down to Triple-A in mid-May. He's slashing .186/.407/.326 with one steal, two home runs and five RBI over 59 plate appearances in the minors this season.
