Kwan is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Yankees.
The Guardians will roll out a right-handed-heavy lineup to counter Yankees southpaw Carlos Rodon in the series finale, so Kwan will take a seat Wednesday along with fellow lefty hitters Chase DeLauter and Kyle Manzardo. Cleveland will go with David Fry in left field in Kwan's stead.
