Halpin started in center field and went 1-for-3 with a triple and a run scored in Sunday's 2-1 loss to Houston.
Halpin made a second consecutive start in center field and third over the Guardians' last five games. He was called up after Cleveland lost two outfield regulars to injuries, and the left-handed batter could pop up in starting lineups against right-handers while manager Stephen Vogt navigates the absences of Chase DeLauter (ribs) and Angel Martinez (foot).
