The Giants recalled Beck from Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday, Evan Webeck of the California Post reports.
In a corresponding move, the Giants placed Trevor McDonald on the 15-day IL Tuesday due to an elbow strain. Beck made five appearances with Triple-A Sacramento since being optioned June 24. Across those appearances, he gave up four earned runs on seven hits, two homers and five walks across 8.2 innings.
